Venus enters Aries at 11:10 am CDT and will stay here until May 28th. With Venus now in a cardinal fire sign, we are being asked to initiate more in our relationships and finances and ignore obstacles. Trust yourself a little more and surrender to your instincts.
Although Venus is technically in detriment in Aries, we are more comfortable taking some risks with this Venus placement, and we should use it to our advantage. There may be something in our lives that we desire, but we’re scared. Will it work out or not? Obviously, I can’t tell you without looking at your chart, but with Mars in Pisces ruling Venus, I know we will be much more successful if we go with what our intuition is telling us.
Venus’ first connection happens on May 5th when it connects with Mercury. Look for an opportunity to clear things up in a relationship before Mercury officially stations retrograde. Mercury is slow by this point, so we won’t be able to make massive adjustments, but inroads are still possible.
Next, on May 14th, it joins Chiron. We may feel especially vulnerable. Don’t react aggressively, but advocate for yourself with confidence.
Then on May 23rd, Venus connects with Saturn. Look for and seize an opportunity to solidify or take a relationship to the next level. This may also be a good time to secure yourself financially.
Venus squares off with Pluto on May 26th. We may feel like our power in a relationship is diminished or ineffective. Try to remain grounded and regain control. Avoid making any significant financial decisions.
Venus in Aries tends to know exactly what it wants, and while sometimes that can get us into trouble, at least there is clarity. So go after what attracts you and pursue what you desire. Venus won’t be in a fire sign until August so seize the moment. Sometimes risking a little now helps us achieve much greater goals.
